Plaintext dustwrapper with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. In this work the author examines the musical legacy of Arturo Toscanini in the recordings that he made, and, what made his conducting legendary. Scanning the whole output over a 70 year career, the author looks at all the that conducted (and the particular piece) for example Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and Beethoven. Softening of the back strip edges some rubbing of the corners. Light age toning of the text block edges and pages; gift inscription to the free front end page taking up three quarters of the page.
