Illustrated dustwrapper, by Peter Dunbar, with white coloured titles to the front panel and spine. A personal memoir of a young English woman's experiences, in Australia, in the late Fifties and early 1960s. Shelf wear to the top and bottom of the book. Foxing and browning to the top paper edge, and foxing to the other edges. The foxing has also occurred to the endpapers but does not intrude upon the internal pages to any large extent. The dustwrapper is rubbed and faded and corners are slightly chipped. There is a tear on the top rear spine gutter, measuring 2". Slight browning and foxing is noticeable on the verso of the dustwrapper. Size: 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. XVIII, 240 Pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs beige coloured boards with school emblem in blue, white and gilt on the front panel. Gilt and white coloured titles to the front panel. Illustrated dustwrapper, being the school uniform colours and the school emblem to the front panel with gilt coloured titles. The 50 year history of Scots College in Wellington (1916-1966). This is part of a limited and numbered publication -- publication number 578. Bumping to the backstrip and heavy bumping to the book corners. Previous owners names and addresses to the verso of the free front end paper. Small erasure mark to the top right hand corner of the title page. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the backstrip edges. The top 1 cm of the backstrip is missing. Heavy rubbing and creasing to the book edges and heavy rubbing to the book panels. There is a 2 " tear to the top left-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel.
