Illustrated dustwrapper, again by Joan Bognuda, showing The Keep , Fort Queenscliff, with black and red writing on the front panel and black on the spine. The dustwrapper is heavily rubbed and has many handling marks. Creasing to the dustwrapper to the corners. There are a few small tears to the top dustwrapper edge. The major damage to the dustwrapper is a tear that starts at the lower lefthand corner of the front dustwrapper panel that follows the spine gutter edge for 3.5 " and then spans the width of the backstrip. Dustwrapper now protected in library plastic. An invocation, in word and picture, of the spirit and enthusiasm of the early settlers of Port Phillip Bay. Beautifully illustrated by Joan Bognuda who has written " Best Wishes, Live and Love Life, Joan " on the top left-hand corner of the title page, and then has signed her full name under her name on the title page.
