The cloth of the boards is slightly faded and on the rear panel there has been a slight "bubbling" of the cloth on the upper half of the board. Browning and foxing to the endpapers. Erasure mark to the top right-hand corner of the free front endpaper. There has been a small piece roughly removed, measuring 1 " x 0.25 ". There has been a little underlining from previous owner in internal text. Photographic dustwrapper, showing "The Goddess Mut, Karnak", against a white background with blue writing on the front panel and spine. The dustwrapper is rubbed, faded and grubby. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. There has been loss of dustwrapper to the top spine edge, and a small portion to the top rear dustwrapper edge. There is a 1.5 " tear to the lower, rear, dustwrapper edge with associated creasing. Another tear of 1.5 " to the lower spine gutter edge is also present.
