Top edge of tinted dark blue, foxing into the front edge of the text block. Internally clean. The hardcover binding is illustrated by Sickert's painting of the old Bedford music hall. Previous owner's name on the front end page. Foxing on the front and rear end pages. No date of publication, but the previous owner's name has the February 1957 written underneath it.
