The front panel of the dust jacket has been pasted to the front panel of the front board. Undated , the book comes from a collection that was mainly 1920 -- 1930 publications. The following is a review of the film was made from the book; English-born character star Victor McLaglen made his Hollywood debut in this highly successful Western melodrama about brothers, separated in early childhood, who wound up as opponents in a side-show wrestling match. There is a dance-hall girl (Marguerite de la Motte) and the usual Western trappings but the film's true highlight is the climactic wrestling match between McLaglen and co-star William Russell, a battle that reminded several reviewers of the legendary slugfest in the first version of The Spoilers (1914). Basis of the film blood on the Moon with Lillie Hayward and Harold Shumate (1948), and first published in 1943, however the 20th-century Western writers dictionary does not record the American title. (Although it is referenced in the index and given a publication date of 1943) the pages of the book are very very brown. There is rubbing to the top of the spine section of the binding, and to the base edge of the boards. Even though the book has a dust jacket, the edges of the spine appear to have been rubbed. The dust jacket is lightly chipped at the head and tail of the spine section. A digital image can be provided to help assess condition. Western Good
