The first part is dated December 1, 1990 and according to the dedication page "this book is the first attempt by anyone to publish a theory of cosmic fission as it may apply to the Earth, Mars and other planets. It has been considered by a few brave souls, since Sir Isaac Newton set forth his Laws of Gravitational Motion, but none have ever dared to publish such a complete paper with pictures, maps and illustrations pointing to the physical evidence. This book -- Gravitational Fission of the Grand Canyon and Mars, so claims. The Author. With a facsimile signature". It is indexed, and contains maps, both in colour and black-and-white, and photography and line drawings, in colour and black-and-white.
